Cruise to Brunswick GA - Oceanside Corvette Club Show

CCA attended event. Oceanside Corvette club car show at Brunswick GA. 2 night trip. It will take about 6 1/2 hours to drive down to Brunswick with a few stops for rest rooms breaks etc. Meet at the Wells Fargo in Loganville, 4779 Atlanta Hwy 78, one block from Maxie Price at 7:00 am and depart at NLT 7:15 am. This will put us in Brunswick around 1:30 PM on Friday. Lead Rod Witmer. Get to Brunswick through Dublin, Ga, McRae GA , Baxley, GA etc. See more info below. Car show is 10 AM to 1 PM Saturday.Oceanside Corvette Club is hosting their 3rd Annual Corvette Show at Stripling’s General Store/Brunswick. (Yes, the same store chain off 78 above Monroe)
Leave on Friday morning, take backroads to Brunswick, return Sunday pm. Room rates as low at $135 out the door. Two nights King Suite Best Western member rate was $305 including tax total booked on March 1. Breakfast included. Rod said call hotel if you have AARP, AAA, or for senior discount. Although they told Harry if you are a Best Western member all 4 discounts are the same.

Check into Hotel
Wash/clean up our cars.
Lori and Bill will locate car wash options when they go down in Mid March.
Dinner (??) after eating lunch at Marshside grill we may not want a big meal.
Saturday
Car Show 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Drive the Jekyll Island after car show for some Corvette Photo Ops in the Historic District, have lunch, and look at the historic bldgs. etc.
Back to Hotel
Dinner - Maybe we get some recommendations from the Oceanside Club people. Maybe a Crab place ??
Leave Sunday morning to head home.
